Bio: Michael Piotrowski is a Printmaker influenced by his history in plein aire landscape painting. He recently moved to a farmhouse in rural NY. For 40+ years he was a Lighting Designer with dance companies across the US. He taught at Brooklyn College, SUNY New Paltz and guest lectured at Vassar College. His paintings, woodblock prints, and monoprints have been included in group, solo, and multiple invitational exhibits. His work ranges from 2×2 mini prints to 5×7 national print exchanges to 4-foot square steamroller prints. He was a finalist for a 2020 National Park Residency at Chaco Canyon, New Mexico and recently completed a Printmaking Residency at VERMONT STUDIO CENTER in Johnson, VT.
