Printmakers gather at the 2025 PGNY Print Fair in Troy, NY!

The Printmakers Guild of NY is a growing, grassroots community established for artists, by artists, founded just a few years ago in 2024. We're funded exclusively by small community grants, donations, and membership dues. We connect in person and online to share resources, discuss technical approaches and challenges, and provide a welcoming and supportive space for printmakers at all experience levels.

Who can join?

1. We welcome members from any location who want to connect with our New York-based community.

2. PGNY is open to printmakers at any stage of their creative career. We welcome fine artists, master printers, educators, students, community-based artists, print organizations, printmaking equipment or paper producers, and everyone in-between we forgot to name!

3. There is no application process to become a member. We do not review portfolios or vet potential members. If you want to support or participate in our creative printmaking community, you are welcome to become a member.

PGNY is a small operation run on volunteer power and a passion for print! As an artist-led community, our version of membership might look different than a non-profit arts setting — because we're not a non-profit! When you join, you'll create an account in our member portal, build your profile, and connect with fellow printmakers in our member directory. We're always growing and improving — thanks for being part of it.

Your membership dues support our growth. Read more about our full membership benefits outlined below. Thank you!
