Bio: Tai Nikki O is a painter and poet just beginning her exploration of printmaking. Tai has tremendous skill in portraiture, conveying not only someone’s likeness but their mood and presence. She incorporates texture, light and rhythmic pattern into her pieces, placing her figures in vibrant abstract spaces.  She asks her subjects to see themselves in a different way, encouraging them to compare self-sown stories of who they think they are with who they see on the canvas.
